Many of the people find it difficult to differentiate between Ejari and tenancy contract. Well, in this blog, we will clear all your doubts!

To keep it simple,

Tenancy contract is the agreement between both the parties i.e. the landlord and the tenant. On the other hand, Ejari is the system that gives your agreement a legal weight, making it easy for you to stand for your rights in case any dispute arises!

Think of Ejari as an official stamp on your tenancy contract, making it a legal leg you can stand upon if you face any kind of dispute in the future!

What is the Importance of Ejari?

Getting hold of an Ejari certificate is important if you are planning to rent an apartment or giving your apartment on rent. Without Ejari, your tenancy contract is just like you driving the car without wheels! Understand this term as a legal leg that allows you to stand straight in case any dispute arises between the tenant and the landlord in the future.

Through this, tenants can further raise the requests for revising the rent contract and take the matter in the court if any conflict arises with the landlord.
